The Sabana Tamaulipeca: Livestock management of the Sabana de Soto La Marina: a proposal for sustainable development
Synopsis
In this work we propose methods and techniques that allow us to enter the knowledge, characterization and classification of the savannah without complications and presents a case study in the Soto La Marina basin, in the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico.
The book presents an innovative proposal to assist in the resolution of the problems related to the negative impact on vegetation and soil, farms in the ecosystems of the Tamaulipas savannah. For this purpose, it is necessary to consider the savannah as a natural tropical pasture and understand its operation, in order to establish a correct model of livestock use, according to its potential, available natural resources and the socioeconomic environment where it is developed, and thereby encourage the cattle activity in the region is profitable and of lasting character.
